Called the Song Offerings, the Gitanjali is the culmination of Rabindranath Tagore's literary prowess and the greatest achievement of his poetic legacy.

Summary of the Book

Encompassing a praise of nature, the Gitanjali celebrates spiritualism and the beauty of the world for all to see. First written in Bengali and later translated into English for a larger audience, these poems touch upon a single poet's praise for the world in all its glory. The song itself is the offering he makes for nature and in it, one finds sublime messages of spiritualism, devotion and gratitude.
